A RESIDENCY FOR WRITERS & VISUAL ARTISTS
Once upon a time a dairy farm (and following that a vet clinic) Aggy Road Farm is now a quiet refuge for writers and visual artists.

Located on 11 acres in the midst of the hardy corn and soybean fields of Miami County, Ohio, Aggy Road Farm is a happy huddle of buildings (a large farmhouse, two (count 'em) traditional barns, a pole barn, stables, a chicken coop, and a five-car garage, containing, for some reason, a complete 1934 Ford coupe in pieces) featuring many spaces, both traditional and not-so-traditional, in which to work and reflect without interruption.

Both short-term and long-term self-directed residencies are available.

OUR MISSION
To provide the quiet and time an artist needs. Located in Tipp City, Ohio, Aggy Road Farm invites poets, writers, visual artists and photographers to apply for 1 to 8 week residencies. (We are flexible--create your ideal timeframe.) There are several private rooms available in our farmhouse built in 1946 with its rich history of dairy farm to veterinarian clinic to residency space. We have two barns, finished spaces for writing and printing, as well as many informal nooks and crannies where one might find a space perfect for writing, reading, drawing, painting or taking photographs. A bunch of friendly barn cats are happy to show you around. Our rescue potbelly pigs, Iggy Rose and Mr. Pickles invite you to share carrots with them. Alpaca mother and daughter, Violet and Matilda look forward to eat grain from your hand.
